We don't run a bookshop.

Instead we are book readers and collectors, regarding books as old friends rather than as something to read and then give away. Inevitably we gain duplicate copies of our favourites as we attempt to get better copies of them, and these we try to sell to others in order to finance our habit (as modern parlance has it).

More recently we have decided to sort through some of our collection to root out volumes which we really think we'll never read again, adding to the sale pile. This is just to make room for more... or so it seems! We've also tried to rescue books which are, we believe, valuable to someone, and offer these for sale too.

All our books are listed with a wonderful site called Alibris. However, it's not possible to see just our offerings there. Instead, please visit our storefront at A B E, the Advanced Book Exchange. >/p>

Please, though, either buy single books through the pages here or, of more than one, email us direct for a price including postage, as it'll be cheaper (and we can offer better prices than we can through ABE. We can accept credit or debit card payments at no risk to you, via PayPal. Or of course you could send a cheque. If you prefer to go through Alibris or ABE that's still fine by us, naturally.
