The spine is more faded, especially at the top. Inside it's Very Good or even Fine-I've seen worse in (new) bookshops!	66.50	44

Bottom of book seems to have been badly trimmed on production as it's "ragged". Pages otherwise are clean and tightly bound with no markings.	61.75	47

Pages tight and although edges are tanned there's very little browning inside. A sticker has been removed from the fep leaving a trace. Front and spine of dustcover are good, but back is missing the top part and there are some tears to the bottom corners.	19.00	35

Hidden in a Dream	Geoffrey Whittam	Collins (Evergreen)	1966	First Thus	Hard Cover	Laminated dustwrapper has creasing to inside fold-overs and a sellotaped tab on the spine. The book is well loved (ok, well used! ) with a small tear off the corner of at least one page, library stamps at intervals and of course on the fep together with the usual remnants of the school library sticker. Nevertheless it's an intact, pleasant copy of a rare-ish title.	17.10	91
The Valley and the Farm	The Author, Mainly	Quality Book Club	1972	First Thus	Hard Cover	One or two very minor chips and a few "bends" to top and bottom of dustwrapper, which is unclipped. A neat printed name appears on the fep. Pages are very good, with the exception of a slight bend mark on the bottom corner of a section of pages-not a crease, just a bend. There's a manufacturing fault on pp 81-88 inclusive where the guillotine has missed a paper fold error; in fact two of the pages are still connected indicating that the book may not have been read. The binding is certainly tight enough to indicate that. No fading; red edging to the top of the pages is still bright. A nice book and a fascinating story in so many ways.	13.30	87

Pages tight and unmarked with slight yellowing, but a very nice copy. Neat owner's name on fep. Dustcover is creased and chipped on front and at spine creases, but good on back.	6.65	40
The Summer of the Great Secret	Anne Bullen	Collins	1948	First Edition	Hard Cover	Pale green boards are faded and stained, as is the spine, and both are bumped at top and bottom. Lyn Jolliffe has bookplate and her name on the inside in two places and there's a dedication to Sue dated 1951 as well. The binding is weakened between the FEP and the remainder, and between it and the back board, but the binding is still very intact. Pages seem free of marks and fading.	6.65	154
