The Conquest of Christina	G B Foyster	Collins			Hard Cover	Dedication on fep reads 1924. The blue boards are a little darkened around the edges and there's an old, faded drawing on the back board. Spine is rather creased through wear. Clean, quite tight pages except for joint between front board and fep which is slightly loose and a blue wax crayon mark (I think) on page 11. A good, atmospehric book in a most acceptable condition by this very collectable author.	38.00	30

The Abbey Girls at Home		Collins	1946		Hard Cover	Fat Orange (though it's black! ) with silver blocked lettering. The boards are a little faded at the edges and top and bottom of the spine. FEP is missing-a rather jagged cut. Pages, though, are fine and bright and the binding is very sound. Coloured frontispiece of Maidlin falling off her bicycle.	17.10	119
The Abbey Girls Go Back to School		Collins (Seagull)	1949	First Thus	Hard Cover	Blue boards have a few minor marks and the spine is faded but still more than legible. Fep has a dedication (1950 is visible) but it's covered by a sticker placed by Air Charter Ltd of London asking the passenger to take it with her on reaching the destination! Production crease on p 57 and a few age mottles on some of the earlier pages and the endpapers. Otherwise pages are clean and the binding good.	9.50	138
Schoolgirl Jen at the Abbey		Collins	1950	First Edition	Hard Cover	Green boards with Abbey in black blocking. Boards are in excellent condition; spine only just a tad faded. Front endpaper has been cut out for some reason but pre-title page and frontispiece are intact. Pages have lost the first flush of youth but are in excellent condition for a 50 year old book, showing no signs of wear. A nice copy.	9.50	266
The Girls of Gwynfa		Warne			Hard Cover	Faulty printing. 4 pairs of pages are missing and earlier pairs have been repeated. Neatly typed pages fill the gaps to provide a readable book but photocopies of the actual pages can be provided if requested. Faded spine, front and back boards are separating but still intact. A little faded but in good condition apart from a fold down the length of the spine. The right of the front paste down has been cut out, leaving a 1/2 inch tab but the pages are unmarked and undamaged. B&W frontispiece.	8.55	291

Back and front endpapers have brown specks at the top edges as do a few of the pages near each end, but this is minor. Selma at the Abbey		Collins	1959	Red Abbey School Series	Hard Cover	Original dustwrapper, rather battered but intact. Missing a 2"x1" piece around the spine area and with damage to corners and so on. The red boards are clean and bright-one tiny dent. There's some browning on the fep and a presentation bookplate on its back. Pages are slightly off colour. A blunt instrument seems to have contacted the edge of the book at some point as there's a small dent that affects about 10 pages, but nothing to write home about.	4.75	97
